What is “Spotlight” about?
"Spotlight" is a stage song about the moment preparation pays off. The first verse moves from the silence before the beat drops to choreography "cold as ice," and the second looks back at sweat on the practice floor, ten thousand hours of work and the road from trainees to queens of the scene. The bridge ends with the crowd shaking the ground. Fifteenth of seventeen tracks on GLITCH, it is the album's last big showcase before the closing pair of "Infinity" and "Rewind."
