Do I need separate licenses for the recording and the song?
A sync usually needs two permissions: a master-use license for the recording and a synchronization license for the composition. McCandless Records releases both the recordings and the songs in its catalog, so one agreement with the label covers both.
How much does it cost to license a song?

Can I license a song for a YouTube, TikTok or Instagram video?
Yes. Creator and brand videos are licensed the same way as other uses. Tell us the platform and whether the video will run as a paid ad.
