What is “Neon” about?
"Neon" is a nightlife anthem set in a glowing midnight city, where the members cast themselves as living light: fluorescent hearts, electric souls, every wavelength from ultraviolet to infrared. Its recurring idea is that others keep trying to dim them and failing, and the chant of "five colors, one light" ties the imagery back to the group itself. Track nine on GLITCH, it runs longer than anything that comes before it on the album.
