What is “Rewind” about?
"Rewind" is a nostalgic love song that wishes it could play a relationship back from the start. The narrator surrounds herself with retro keepsakes, from Polaroids on the bedroom floor to mixtapes and roller rinks, and calls fast-forward overrated. The final chorus shifts the idea, though, from reliving the past to making new memories, declaring that "the future starts tonight." As the closing track on GLITCH, it ends the album looking backward and forward at once.
