What is “Golden Hour” about?

"Golden Hour" is built around one wish, to "hold the light before it fades." Its few lines circle the moment when everything turns golden, repeating the title until the words dissolve into echoes, so the lyric works more as a mood than a story, in keeping with deep house's habit of treating vocals as texture. Released on its own as a single, it also opens Tide Clock, starting the album in that brief warm glow.
