What is “Teeth & Honey” about?
"Teeth & Honey" is about wanting someone the narrator knows will wreck her, a lover who walks in "like a hurricane in heels" and says the sweetest things with a razor tongue. Everybody warns her off, and she answers that being consumed is the whole point. The bridge spells out the appeal as sting and sweetness together, with safety flatly refused. At track five, it brings Gasoline Hymn back to the dangerous attraction of its opener, "Rattlesnake Kiss."
